China remains the UK's largest single source of manufactured goods. We move full containers and consolidated part loads from the main southern and eastern ports, and air freight for urgent or high-value cargo.
Agent offices in Shanghai and Guangzhou
We work through agent offices in Shanghai and Guangzhou, covering the eastern and southern manufacturing regions. They liaise with your suppliers, book the space, and make sure the export paperwork is right before the goods leave China.
Full container or part load
A full container makes sense once you are shipping roughly 15 cubic metres or more. Below that, groupage is usually cheaper — you pay for the space you use and share the container with other shipments. Our FCL or LCL guide goes through the numbers.
Buying from several suppliers
If you buy from more than one factory, we can collect from each and consolidate the goods into one container at origin, so you pay for one sailing and one clearance.
What you need to give us
- Commercial invoice and packing list
- Supplier contact details at origin
- HS codes for the goods, or we can classify them for you
- Your GB EORI number
Customs on arrival
Our Essex team lodges the import declaration, gives you the duty and VAT figure before the goods land, and arranges delivery to your door or warehouse.
